A Surgery Center located in Lynbrook, NY is currently seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:

Title: Certified Surgical Tech / Surgical Assistant

Job Type: Direct Hire / Permanent

Setting: Operating Room / Surgery Center

Location: Lynbrook, NY

Schedule: Full-Time, M-F 7AM-3:30PM or 8:30am-5pm

Pay: $38-46/hr with full benefits (health, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, STD, LTD)

The Certified Surgical Technician will perform direct patient care within a busy surgery center. Duties to include but not be limited to:

• Assembles supplies and equipment for scheduled procedures according to physicians’ preference cards
• Follows principles of aseptic technique and prescribed operating/procedure room procedures
• Correctly uses, cares for, cleans, and sterilizes instruments, supplies, and equipment as directed
• Handles equipment and instruments correctly to provide appropriate availability and safety

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of accredited OR Tech or Surgical Technologist program
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
• Orthopedic experience required
