Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites that align with our brand and meet client needs. As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with developers, marketing teams, and stakeholders to conceptualize and execute high-quality web designs. 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design & Development

    • Create visually engaging website designs, layouts, and graphics, ensuring a seamless user experience (UX).
    • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to present design ideas.
    • Design responsive and mobile-friendly web interfaces that function seamlessly across devices and platforms.
  2. Collaboration & Communication

    • Work closely with web developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to align web design with branding and marketing strategies.
    • Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders through presentations and visual assets.
  3. User Experience (UX) & Accessibility

    • Focus on user-centric design principles to enhance usability and engagement.
    • Ensure designs are accessible and comply with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
    • Conduct user testing to gather feedback and iterate designs based on findings.
  4. Maintenance & Updates

    • Update and maintain existing websites to ensure consistency and optimal performance.
    • Implement design revisions based on analytics, feedback, and evolving business needs.
    • Troubleshoot design-related issues and work towards resolution.
  5. Research & Innovation

    • Stay updated with the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies.
    • Explore and implement innovative design solutions to improve user experience and brand presence.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education:
    Bachelors degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (preferred).
    • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Squarespace, or Web flow.
    • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
    • Experience with UX/UI design and prototyping tools.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. 

Experience:
1+ years of professional web design experience (preferred).
A strong portfolio showcasing design versatility and creativity.

Work Environment:
Location: Remote, Hybrid, or On-Site
Schedule: Full-time Part-Time
