Pride Health is hiring a CVOR Tech to support our client’s facility in Rockford, IL. This is a 13-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for cardiovascular surgery department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of cardiovascular experience and possess a valid BLS certification. You will be responsible for assisting in cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, as well as general and orthopedic procedures when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate assistance during cardiovascular, vascular, general, and orthopedic surgeries, ensuring smooth procedure flow.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the operating room is fully prepared with all required instruments and equipment before surgery.
• Offer specialized support for cardiovascular and vascular surgeries, handling instruments and equipment accurately and efficiently.
• Foster effective communication with surgeons, nurses, and medical staff, ensuring all surgical needs are met in a collaborative manner.
• Maintain flexibility for weekday and weekend call shifts, ensuring availability for emergency and scheduled surgeries as required.
• Complete required orientation and adhere to hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards consistently.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, ensuring readiness of equipment and support during critical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of Cardiovascular experience in a surgical environment.
• BLS Certification required.
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, preferably with CTS certification.

• Location: Rockford, IL
• Job Type: 13-week contract
• Shifts: 5x8, 06:45 AM – 15:15 PM
• Pay Range : $2300-$2500 Weekly

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
