Position Title : OR Scrub Tech - Surgical Services

Location : West Palm Beach, FL

Position Type : Full-time • Days (Rotating Weekends)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled OR Scrub Tech to join our Surgical Services team in West Palm Beach, FL. As an OR Scrub Tech, you will be responsible for preparing sterile instruments, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. The role also requires maintaining a clean and safe work environment and adhering to strict safety and infection control standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Prepare sterile instrument tables for surgeries.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and actively monitor situations to prevent breaches in technique.
• Position patients according to the type of surgery being performed.
• Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Maintain the surgical work area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Gather equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Job Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 - 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification.
• Call required as part of the job responsibilities.
• Fingerprinting required.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the work location.
• Must have completed an accredited OR Tech Program.

Additional Information :

• Rotating weekends and holiday availability are required.
• No relocation or sign-on bonus will be offered.
