Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A , financial reporting , and consolidations . This role will involve working with key stakeholders across various departments to streamline financial processes, improve reporting accuracy, and assist with global consolidation efforts.
Key Responsibilities: - SAP FICO Implementation & Support:
- Work with business teams to understand financial requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FICO module (Financial Accounting, Controlling) to support accounting and reporting needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO-related issues, working with internal teams and SAP support teams.
- FP&A Activities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts and budgets.
- Provide analysis and insights to support financial planning and decision-making.
- Ensure alignment of actual results with budget/forecast, investigate variances, and provide detailed reports.
- Financial Reporting:
- Generate and review financial statements and reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.) using SAP.
- Coordinate and support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting policies, and external regulations (IFRS, GAAP).
- Consolidation:
- Support the consolidation of financial results from multiple entities, ensuring proper intercompany eliminations and adjustments.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of group-level reports, ensuring compliance with corporate standards.
- Maintain and enhance the SAP consolidation system to ensure efficient reporting.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize and automate financial processes using SAP.
- Work closely with IT and business units to implement system enhancements and new functionalities.
Qualifications: - Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO, FP&A, financial reporting, and consolidations.
- Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA and knowledge of integrated modules.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting and controlling principles.
- Strong experience in financial consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Skills:
- Expertise in SAP FICO module configuration, reporting tools, and customization.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, reporting tools, and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across various functional areas.
- Knowledge of financial regulations (IFRS/GAAP).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation).
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA.
- CPA or other relevant professional certifications.
