Job Description
As a key member of our Reserving Actuarial team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with several accredited actuaries, contributing your analytical prowess, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities to support the company's growth and profit objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Actuarial Function team in developing a standardized loss ratio and validate chosen and recorded ratios during yearly reserve assessments.
- Aid the reserving team during monthly closings and participate in creating presentations for the Loss Reserve Committee.
- Promote innovation and effectiveness across all processes, focusing on enhancing forecast quality and achieving greater predictability.
- Review work from fellow team members and offer training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Build up the reservinf team fcousing on long-tailed financial lines.
