Provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care. Primary role is the delivery of competent clinically appropriate placement of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Lines and/or Midlines as ordered, including maintenance and care of all Central Lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum of two years nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing required; a bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: Current New York State RN licensure required. Current BLS required. Valid PICC Insertion Certification required.
