Job Description

Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating the Agile development process, ensuring the team adheres to Scrum principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities: Act as a servant-leader to one or more Agile teams, guiding them through the Scrum framework.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments to the team’s progress to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog.
  • Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration within the team.
  • Track and report on team performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensure alignment between team activities and overall business goals.
  • Support organizational transformation by advocating for Agile principles across departments.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Proven expertise in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
  • Preferred: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in software development, engineering, construction, or telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
