Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility in New Hampshire and other locations. This is a 3- month assignment and after that a permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Summary:
A Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing, ensuring accurate labeling and handling of specimens. They are skilled in performing venipunctures and capillary punctures while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Phlebotomists must maintain a high level of professionalism and patient care, often working in a fast-paced environment. They are also responsible for preparing blood samples for testing, documenting all procedures, and ensuring proper storage and transportation of specimens. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for interacting with patients and maintaining accurate records. Phlebotomists may work in hospitals, clinics, blood donation centers, or diagnostic laboratories.
