Hercules Concrete - Master Electrician - Metro Detroit

Pay Rate: $100,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience)

We are currently looking for a Master Electrician to manage all electrical work at our plants in Metro Detroit. Hercules is an industry leading concrete supplier with 7 plants and about 120 drivers in the Metro Detroit area. We've experienced a lot of growth and success in our first few years in the industry, and we plan to continue expanding our operations throughout the Great Lakes Region!

Job Description:

• Safely maintain, repair, and sustain operations of a broad range of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy industrial environment under minimal supervision and according to established policies and procedures. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Preventive and Routine maintenance on concrete plant equipment
• Troubleshoot, calibrate and repair electric and electronic circuits, equipment, controls, and instrumentation as needed.
• Use blueprints, charts, tables, work orders, verbal instructions, and established practices to organize and complete assigned work
• Install plant electrical equipment and systems as needed
• Alters existing plant electrical equipment, instruments, and systems as required
• Inspect and service concrete plant electrical systems and equipment
• Pull applicable permits as needed
• Responsible for clean-up of immediate work areas or in other areas in conjunction with assigned duties.
• Mentoring, advising and instructing apprentices on the job.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing and/or industrial experience as an Electrician
• Skilled knowledge of the National Electric Code
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to read and interpret warning labels, safety instructions, product use instructions, and electrical drawings including schematics, interconnection, conduit and cabinet drawings
• Able to work in various weather conditions
