Hourly Rate: $23.00 - 24.50 per hour

Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is key to fulfilling MoChiMu's mission and vision by spearheading the museum's marketing and design efforts. They use their creativity and organizational expertise to execute marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer and other team members. This role is instrumental in building brand awareness, cultivating community partnerships, and advancing the museum's goals through innovative strategies and compelling storytelling.

Education – A highschool diploma or equivalent is required, an associates or bachelors degree is preferred.

Leadership: Be a dynamic team leader with a deep understanding of MoChiMu's mission and a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging environment for visitors. Provide team leadership while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Support customer-facing processes and maintain member relations while inspiring, motivating, and empowering part time staff to take ownership of their roles and responsibilities. Promote a culture of kindness and respect, creating a positive and welcoming environment for all who visit MoChiMu.
Financial Management: Maintain accurate records of transactions for all marketing activities.. Ensuring financial transparency is maintained and in line with company policy and procedures.
Communication: Be an outstanding communicator and relationship-builder. Capacity to prioritize, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with diverse internal and internal stakeholders and all manor of customers. Effective communication skills are paramount. Must demonstrate exemplary communication skills at all levels.
Customer Service: Welcome visitors and partners with warmth and friendliness, be accommodating to children and their families, exhibit patience and understanding, and be relatable to people of all ages. Deep understanding of the Museum's exhibits and programs, and they should serve as knowledgeable guides to visitors, offering helpful insights and answering questions with enthusiasm and clarity. Creator of a safe, interactive environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and have fun. Promptly and effectively address any issues or concerns that visitors or partners may have and work to ensure that everyone has a positive and enjoyable experience at MoChiMu.
