Job Description

John's Landscape Service, Inc (JLS) is searching for a creative and talented Landscape Designer/Salesperson with a minimum of 3-5 years experience to join our growing team. JLS has been in business for over 35 years and provides full-service landscape design, construction, maintenance, and fine gardening services. We are located in Arlington, MA and service residential and commercial clients in the greater Boston and surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years minimum experience in landscape design and sales
• Landscape Design and/or Horticulture degree or equivalent experience preferred; certifications a plus
• On-site management a plus and field experience necessary
• Advanced plant knowledge necessary (trees, shrubs and perennials)
• Strong experience in landscape design using designing software (Dynascape)
• Ability to prepare proposals, contracts, estimates and designs
• Ability to set up a plant and/or hardscape installation
• Computer skills (i.e. excel, word, outlook and Adobe creative suite)
• Ability to work effectively with design/build team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
