Journeyman Electrician
Skills Required
- Reading blueprint
- Installing feeders
- Sizing wire and conduits
- Installing and terminating switchgear and devices
- Grasping electrical theory and the NFPA 70 National Electric Code
Nice To have:
- Install, troubleshoot, and terminate control wiring per drawings
- Troubleshoot motors and controls
- Handle fire alarm systems (extra points for a current fire alarm license).
