Industrial Master Electrician

The Industrial Master Electrician will be an asset with strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, a commitment to electrical safety, extensive experience and knowledge in industrial electrical systems, and responsible for ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance and repairs are conducted in accordance with national, state and local codes.

What you will get to do:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high-voltage and low voltage systems, transformers, motors and control systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes and standards, conduct regular safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures, promote a culture of safety, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and best practices.
• Mentor a team of maintenance staff, provide guidance, training and development opportunities to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in electrical systems.
• Plan and coordinate electrical projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting, collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs, inspections, and installations, prepare reports on electrical system performance and recommend improvements or upgrades as necessary.
• Respond to electrical emergencies, troubleshooting issues promptly, and implement repairs to minimize downtime and safety risks.

You will bring these qualifications:

Experience Level: Mid-Level

Education: Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent required

• Must have current Industrial Master Electrician License
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial electrical work required
• Must be proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, NEC (National Electrical Code), and safety regulations required
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills required
• Must be experienced with Variable frequency drive (VFD), servo drives, and servo motors

Shift & Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Occasional overtime or emergency response may be required, including off-shift and weekend work. Six-day work weeks required during peak season.
