Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations and compile detailed dental records.
• Diagnose and treat dental disorders affecting the teeth, gums, and mouth.
• Develop treatment plans to maintain or restore patients’ oral health.
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, fillings, root canals, and crowns efficiently and as per established dental standards.
• Prescribe medications as necessary, adhering to established guidelines.
• Provide education and guidance on oral health care and preventive measures to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and foster a safe, positive, and supportive environment for patients.
• Supervise and mentor dental assistants and other supporting staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Stay updated with advances in dental practices and techniques to ensure modern and efficient care is provided to the patients.
• Manage dental emergencies proficiently.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice dentistry and relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice, with a strong foundation in general dentistry.
• Exceptional manual dexterity and precision to perform intricate dental procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and proficiency in using modern dental equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Commitment to adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
