We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst with experience in behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. This consulting role focuses on helping non-profit organizations in the social services and healthcare sector improve their financial performance and service delivery. You'll work remotely with a dedicated team, providing valuable financial insights and recommendations.
Job Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will analyze financial data, prepare reports, and offer recommendations to optimize the use of funds to enhance the health outcomes of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) participants. You will also provide ongoing advice and evaluation to support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and adjustments of CCBHC Payment Program Access (PPS) models.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze financial data, including revenues, expenditures, cost projections, insurance information, and fiscal modeling.
Prepare or review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and related financial reports as outlined in project scopes of work.
Recommend improvements to financial status by supporting the establishment and analysis of PPS results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and suggesting actions to improve performance.
Present clear and concise financial analysis to stakeholders, including executive management and staff, ensuring key insights are easily understood.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
A Master's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in fiscal management, financial systems, and administration, with recent exposure to regulatory changes and requirements.
Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management systems, both in theory and practice.
Experience with auditing, billing compliance reviews, and trend analysis within outpatient treatment services, behavioral health clinics, and care management practices.
Familiarity with CCBHCs, FQHCs, and healthcare billing policies affecting behavioral health provider revenue.
Understanding of the behavioral health provider/government ecosystem.
Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and other team members to achieve project goals.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present financial data to a variety of audiences, including non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation:
The minimum compensation for this position is $50,000 annually. Please note that compensation is contract-based and varies depending on client needs and the successful completion of contracts. More details will be provided during the interview process for candidates who are a good fit.
