Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team, specializing in behavioral healthcare budgeting and revenue modeling. As part of this role, you will play a key part in improving the health of Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) participants by conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and providing recommendations to optimize the use of funds.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of financial information, including revenues, expenditures, cost projections, insurance, and fiscal modeling.
- Prepare and review CCBHC Cost Reports, budgets, and related reports based on the project scope.
- Identify opportunities for financial improvements, support the establishment of Payment Program Access (PPS) models, monitor variances, track trends, and make actionable recommendations to management.
- Communicate clear and concise financial analysis to key stakeholders, including executive management and staff, ensuring the information is accessible to all audiences.

Qualifications and Skills:
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of progressively responsible experience in fiscal management or administration, focusing on financial systems, management information, and controls.
- A deep understanding of accounting and financial management, both theoretically and practically.
- Proven experience in auditing, billing compliance, and trend analysis, particularly with outpatient treatment clinics, behavioral health centers, and care management practices.
- Familiarity with CCBHCs, health care billing policies, and revenue management in behavioral health settings.
- Knowledge of the behavioral health provider/government ecosystem, including CCBHCs and FQHCs.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives and staff to achieve project goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to various audiences, including senior management and non-financial stakeholders.

Compensation:
Compensation is contract-based and varies depending on client needs and contract success. The minimum starting rate is $50,000. Further details will be shared during the interview process.
