The Role

The function of the Merchandise Coordinator position is to be responsible for the coordination and maintenance of online merchandise on the e-commerce websites. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to handle large volumes of incoming products and maintain their merchandising standards regarding sample processing, studio photography, product copy, color, and price. This person will also work closely with cross-functional partners across buying,

planning & marketing teams.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead ecommerce sample process. This includes receiving, requesting & organization of samples, as well as processing & passing off to photography studio for imagery.
  • Gather product content (samples, photos & copy) to ensure product is online prior to inventory availability.
  • Maintain site products by reviewing weekly inventory reports and confirming product is available on site.
  • Review the styling direction of new product images to ensure that customers receive the most helpful and accurate visual depiction of our products.
  • Identify and navigate new products into site categories, based on product attributes and known customer shopping behaviors. Responsible for site product navigation maintenance, as necessary.
  • Partner with marketing to build collections in support of seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Drive sales and conversion by creating unique, SEO-rich content via keywords, title tags and meta-descriptions to optimize internal & external search rankings.
  • Identify and leverage information (technologies, technical specs, size charts, buying guides, etc.) that inform, educate and influence customer buying decisions.
