****This role is not a dedicated drafter or designer this role is focused on meeting with internal Project Managers and External engineering companies on drafting and design needs****

***Will be working on 30+ assignments (Project Support) at a time***

**Have exp with designs and drawings with Compressor stations and meter stations and NatGas facility**

Drafting Coordinator

Overview:

The Drafting Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of drafting deliverables across projects. This role involves managing and coordinating drawing lifecycles, providing guidance to internal teams and third-party providers, and ensuring all drafting adheres to Our Client 's specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, compile, and manage project-related drawings, ensuring all required documentation is available and up-to-date.
• Oversee the check-in/check-out process for project drawings, facilitating concurrent usage by multiple project teams while avoiding conflicts.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure drawing deliverables align with project schedules and accurately reflect project requirements.
• Perform comprehensive QA/QC reviews of internal and third-party drawing deliverables during design and as-built phases to ensure conformance with Our Client 's drafting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external designers to deliver accurate and complete construction and as-built drawings.
• Plan, prioritize, and track drawings through all project stages, from initial development to final completion.
• Provide guidance and direction to third-party engineering and drafting service providers to maintain consistency with Our Client 's standards.

Qualifications and Education:

• Preferred Experience: Background in operations and a solid understanding of drafting coordination and document management systems.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of standard drafting techniques, procedures, and related software.
• Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D drawing technologies is a plus.
• Awareness of CAD technology trends and their practical applications.
• Soft Skills:
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong team collaboration and self-starter mentality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven ability to identify and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
• Tools and Software Proficiency:
• Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Additional Attributes:
• Demonstrated ability to process complex information quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Practical understanding of drawing interpretation across multiple disciplines.
• Ability to align with company initiatives and contribute to their success.
