Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Access Services
Location: Saint Helens, OR 97051
Pay : $21-22 per hour + $1,000 hiring bonus! 

Direct Support Professional (DSP)
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and engage in their community. You will provide person-centered support, assist with daily activities, and help individuals achieve their personal goals in a compassionate and inclusive environment. What You’ll Do as a DSP: As a DSP at CAS, you will:
  • Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, household tasks, and community outings.
  • Encourage and facilitate the development of life skills to promote independence.
  • Advocate for the rights, choices, and needs of the individuals you support.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment that aligns with CAS's mission and values.
  • Assist with transportation, medication administration, and documentation as needed.
  • Celebrate successes, big and small, and make every day meaningful.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or social work is beneficial but not necessary – we offer comprehensive training!
  • A compassionate, patient, and dedicated approach, with a strong commitment to advocating for individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and eligibility to drive for the company.
  • Ability to successfully pass a national background check.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other related tasks.
